MEETING IN PORTOCALIU



At that time I was running after a shadow. Since the tenth

He has a PhD in Philosophy and has participated in the Leadership of the United Nations, among his books are: Poems of Love and Life (1987), Man of the Air (1992), absorbed Oda (1994), Poems Banished (1995), The inhabitants of the poet (1997), As if dawns: Songs of War (1997), The witness nude (2002), Mazes of Smoke (2005) and the three wives of the Night (2005). Translated his poems into English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Turkish and Romanian.

José Tadeo Tápanes Zerquera: Born in Trinidad, Sancti Spiritus province, Cuba on October 28, 1971 in a family of musicians and poets. Start writing poetry at the age of 11 years as an autodidact, and 4 years later, with hundreds of poems under his arm, for the first time about Literary Workshop Pre Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) Ernesto Che Guevara the Villa Clara province, where in high school. Shortly afterwards approach the Literary Workshop José Martí, his hometown, and once in college, he joined the literary workshop of these institutions, as well as literary groups that created them.
He studied Industrial Engineering in the second year, leaving it to study BA in History, graduating from the University of Havana in 1996. Subsequently, would harmonize their academic studies at the University of the Basque Country, Spain, where he has lived since 2000.
